THE HAPPY SCRAPPERS APRIL MEETING

Hello Quilters! The Happy Scrappers met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop this past Saturday and I have lots of pictures to show you today.  Jane showed us her latest quilts for charity.  She said the above snowman quilt was a panel and she used flannel for the background.

And this is another quilt that Jane is donating to charity.  They both are so darn cute.  What child wouldn't love one of these!

Tammy worked on this quilt, cutting the wee small pieces for it and sewing them together. I really admire her patience.
As you can see in the photo, this block is only a 4 inch square, so the little pieces that make up the block are very small!!!

Marty joined us today.  It was so nice to see her and catch up with what all she's been doing.  She didn't bring any sewing today.  She just wanted to chat and see what everyone is working on and see what is new in at the Shop.  We were so glad to see her.

And Joyce joined us today.  She hasn't been to Happy Scrappers since she moved up north, and that was years ago.  It was so nice to see her.

Pat, left, and Val, joined us today.  As you can see, Val was working on this lovely stitchery.

And Pat was busy making these small flowers.  I'm eager to see what she is going to do with them.

Penny was busy sewing these squares together.  Each square was given to a visitor at the recent All State Shop Hop.

And here is what she did with them.  She made this bag!  How clever!  What a great way to use them!

Above is Jane.  Don't you love her glasses!  I think they are perfect when doing small stitch sewing like on the following.

Jane was working on these small Christmas Tree Ornaments.

Above are close ups of the small squares.  She is making them into Christmas Tree ornaments for her nieces and nephews.

And these are the backs of the ornaments.  I hope to get a picture of one of them when it is all finished and ready to hang.

And Lee Anne was diligently working on another quilt.  Love those fabrics!

And as for me, I was doing some hand applique.  Sorry, but I forgot to take a picture.

Don't forget, the Happy Scrappers meets the last Saturday of the month.   Everyone is welcome. Bring a project to work on. Hope to see you there in May.

Stop by the Attic Window Quilt Shop and check out all the new fabric.

Normal hours for the Attic Window Quilt Shop:  Open Monday - Friday, 10 - 5, and Saturday, 10 - 4.

HAPPY SCRAPPERS MEET AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

When we were at Happy Scrappers at the Attic Window Quilt Shop this past Saturday, Chris (owner) showed us this cute vase or pencil holder that someone had made for her using yo-yos.  So cute!!!

We had such a great time that day as a number of us enjoyed sewing, and catching up with fellow quilters as to what they had been up to.  Above, JanaLee irons fabric for one of the projects she was working on.

Pat and Val joined us for the fun filled day!

Karen was busy making these blocks!  How pretty.

Nancy shows one of the many blocks she made that day.  I didn't learn what she was making, but I love the fabrics, so it is sure to be awesome.

LeeAnne was busy making pinwheels.

Above she shows me what one will look like.  Love those fabrics!

Jane was busy working.  She really amazes me on how much she gets done.  Sorry, I forgot to ask her what she is making.  Maybe another quilt for charity and then I get to quilt it.  Yah!!

I guess I forgot to take a picture of what I was working on.  Really, that is best because it's for a gift.  Actually, I spent all day doing hand sewing.   I think that's why I love applique so much.  I have something to do with my hands while I'm watching TV or gabbing to friends.

Don't forget, the Happy Scrappers meets the last Saturday of the month.   Everyone is welcome. Bring a project to work on. Hope to see you there in April.

Stop by the Attic Window Quilt Shop and check out all the new fabric.

Normal hours for the Attic Window Quilt Shop:  Open Monday - Friday, 10 - 5, and Saturday, 10 - 4.
